2019 vs. 2018 Kia Sorento

Introducing the all-new 2019 Kia Sorento! The crossover receives a variety of updates for 2019, including a new diesel engine option. On the outside, the Sorento boasts revised front and rear fascia, new optional full LED headlights and taillights. Inside the cabin are new standard features, including a 7-inch touchscreen, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and much more.

There are also new transmission options, including a six-speed automatic for the 2.4-liter and an eight-speed automatic for the V-6. The 2.0-liter four-cylinder from the 2018 model is no longer available for the 2019 model year and instead may be replaced with a diesel engine in the near future. With that said, how different can you expect the 2019 and 2018 Kia Sorento models to be? Here's a closer look at how the two models compare.
